Each code is created with the reservation and sent to the lock ahead of arrival. It works from 30 minutes before check-in until 30 minutes after checkout by default, and you can change that window for the whole portfolio or a single lock. Date changes re-time it, and a cancellation removes it.
Every lock keeps backup codes, and SuiteOp swaps one in automatically if the guest’s code isn’t on the lock near check-in. Guests can also request a new code from their Portal. Offline locks from dormakaba, Igloohome and TTLock don’t need a connection at all: their codes are generated for the stay’s dates. Your team gets a critical alert and a list of upcoming stays without a working lock, so someone can fix it before the guest arrives.
Yes. The guest’s Portal shows their code and its live window, with hold to unlock for locks that support it, and lets them adjust the thermostat within the limits you set. The code stays hidden until pre-check-in and verification are done.
Yes. Team members get their own codes, which can be a different length from guest codes so nobody mixes them up, and you can switch staff access off on any lock. Every entry is logged with who opened the door and how.
No. SuiteOp works with the hardware you already own, and we’re happy to recommend models for new properties based on what works for other operators.
