Hostaway: Best Practices for Messaging Flow


What will the portal link be in Hostaway?

To send your guest their portal link in Hostaway messages, use the variable below to generate a personalized link for each reservation:

app.suiteop.com/reservation/{{hostaway_reservation_id}}

If you are using a custom domain for your guest portal, you will replace the base URL with your own domain to something like: guest.myshorttermrental.com/{{hostaway_reservation_id}} (this is an example, it will be your subdomain.domain.com/{{hostaway_reservation_id}})
while keeping the {{hostaway_reservation_id}} variable at the end. To set that up, visit this help article.

Including this link in your automated messages will send each guest a unique, personalized URL to their portal.
