Guesty: Best Practices for Messaging Flow

What will the portal link be in Guesty?

In Guesty to create the guest portal link, you will use the variable {{confirmation_code}} with your URL. This will make each link unique for the guest receiving the automated messages.


SuiteOp custom variables in Guesty

We send some custom variables from SuiteOp to Guesty to make guest messages more powerful. You can use these as Conditions to send messages.

  • CHECKOUT_SURVEY_IS_5_STAR

  • CHECKOUT_SURVEY_COMPLETE


Message templates in Guesty

We typically set up 6 message groups, split out by lead time, these are listed below. This will look something like the below image when you're done! To find messages in Guesty go to Automations > Messages.
