This rental agreement establishes an official contract between you and your guests, who must sign it during pre-check-in.
Establishing this feature is crucial as it ensures a clear framework of guidelines and rules between hosts and guests. Having a formal agreement in place enhances communication, sets expectations, and helps resolve disputes effectively, and can be useful in fighting chargebacks, ultimately fostering a positive hosting experience for both parties.
Step 1 - Create a new verification rule
Navigate to the SuiteOp portal configuration page and select the "Verify" tab.
Click "New" and choose "Agreement" from the dropdown options.
A new agreement will be added to your Verification Rule List.
Step 2 - Configure your Agreement
Provide a nickname for this Rental Agreement rule. This nickname will only be visible to your team in SuiteOp and will help you manage different verification rules efficiently if you create multiple rental agreements in the future.
Choose the booking sources to include or exclude for this verification rule. This allows you to create distinct rental agreements for different sources. For example, you can set up separate agreements for direct bookers compared to specific OTA bookers.
You can also choose whether to exclude returning guests from having to sign this rental agreement.
You can use variables to pull information from your PMS, such as guest name, listing address, check-in, and check-out times, and incorporate them directly into the agreement. Enter your rental agreement text into the provided field, including the necessary variables. You can customize your text with different styles and colors as needed.
Step 3 - Assign and activate your rental Agreement
Assign the verification rule to one or multiple portals. Head back to the top of the page, and change its status to ACTIVE to display it on the portal
