Overview
The Chekin integration enables automated authority reporting and guest identity verification for your properties. Chekin collects required guest information, verifies identities, and submits reports to local authorities—helping you maintain compliance with regional regulations while streamlining your check-in process.
This integration is particularly valuable for properties in European countries with mandatory guest registration requirements.

Connecting properties to Chekin

To connect an individual property:

Enter your VATSA number (if applicable)
Important: When connecting individual properties, rooms must be added manually

Expand the property view to see all available rooms
Click Save to complete the connection
Note: Houses will not have assignable rooms in this view.
Method 2: Connect property groups
This method automatically imports all rooms and units, making it ideal for hotels, hostels, or properties with multiple units.
To connect a property group:
Click Connect Property
Select Group from the connection options
Choose the property group from the dropdown
All rooms and units will automatically populate
Review the imported rooms and remove any that shouldn't be included
