Connecting Guesty to SuiteOp

Overview

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for connecting your Guesty property management system with SuiteOp's operational platform. By integrating these two services, you'll be able to streamline your operations, enhance the guest experience, and optimize your property management workflow.

SuiteOp is a comprehensive operations platform that offers smart device management, digital guidebooks, upselling opportunities, and more - all designed to work seamlessly with your Guesty account.


Prerequisites

  • An active Guesty account with administrator access

  • A SuiteOp account (or plans to create one)

  • Properties already set up in your Guesty account


Integration Process

Step 1: Access Guesty Marketplace

  1. Log in to your Guesty account

  2. Navigate to the top navigation bar

  3. Click and select "Guesty Marketplace"

Step 2: Find SuiteOp Integration

  1. In the Marketplace, use the search function to find "SuiteOp"

  2. Alternatively, browse through the available integrations until you find SuiteOp

  3. Click on the SuiteOp integration card to view details

Step 3: Generate API Key

  1. Within the Marketplace page, locate the API key section

  2. Generate a new API key if you don't already have one

  3. Copy this API key - you'll need it to authorize the connection

Note: Guesty API keys may expire after a certain period, so complete the integration process promptly after generating the key.

Step 4: Connect the Services

  1. Click the "Connect" button on the SuiteOp Guesty integration page

  2. You'll be redirected to the SuiteOp integration page

  3. Paste your Guesty API key into the designated field

  4. Follow any additional prompts to complete the authorization

Step 5: Configure Your Properties

  1. After completing the connection, you'll need to configure SuiteOp with your Guesty properties

  2. Review the list of properties imported from Guesty

  3. Configure individual settings for each property as needed

  4. Save your configuration settings


Using the Guest Portal

After integration, you can share the SuiteOp guest portal with your Guesty bookings:

  1. When sharing portal links with guests, include the reservation ID in the URL

  2. Format for standard domain: app.suiteop.com/reservation/[RESERVATION_ID]

  3. Format for custom domain: [your-domain]/[RESERVATION_ID]


Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during the integration process:

  1. Verify your API key is valid and hasn't expired

  2. Ensure you have administrator permissions in both platforms

  3. Check that your properties are correctly set up in Guesty
