Background Checks with Authenticate.com

Sometimes you may want more thorough verification of your guests than the basic ID check. If you want to run full background checks on your guests before their stay, you can easily integrate SuiteVerify with an Authenticate.com account. The steps to set this up are below!

Step 1: Create an Authenticate.com account

If you already have an account, you can skip this step.

  1. Complete the required fields.

  2. Verify your email address.

  3. Review and accept the Agreement.

  4. Add payment information and top up your account.

  5. Obtain your API credentials (this step is essential).

Step 2: Connect your Authenticate.com account in SuiteOp

In SuiteOp, navigate to Integrations > Authenticate.com.

  1. Select Connect Authenticate Account.

  2. Enter your API Key and Company Access Code.

Step 3: Set up your SuiteVerify rule

In SuiteOp, navigate to Portals > Verify.

  1. Select Add New > Background Check.

  2. Choose your Authenticate account from the options.

Step 4: Guest Background check

After adding the verification step, your guests will see a Background check item in their Pre-check-in form. They will then be asked to agree to Authenticate.com's terms & policies before providing the necessary information. Authenticate.com will need the full name, email, date of birth, phone number, address, and the last four digits of their Social Security Number for the background check. Below is what the guests will see.
