SuiteOp x Truvi Booking Protection

Updated this week

SuiteOp now integrates with Truvi to provide scalable guest screening and damage protection for your properties.

This integration allows you to offer a damage waiver with built-in guest verification and protection — without adding friction to the booking experience.

What Is Truvi?

Truvi is a guest screening and protection platform designed for short-term rental operators.

When enabled, Truvi screens and verifies guests before check-in. Approved bookings are automatically covered under your selected protection amount.

Key Benefits

  • Up to $50,000 in protection for approved bookings

  • Coverage starts at approximately $5 per night (for $50K protection)

  • Built-in guest screening and verification

  • Reduced reliance on platform Resolution Centers

  • Additional revenue opportunity through damage waiver markup

Example Revenue Model

If you charge $20 per night for a damage waiver:

  • ~$5 goes toward coverage

  • ~$15 remains as margin

How It Works

  1. Guest completes a booking.

  2. Truvi automatically screens and verifies the guest.

  3. Approved bookings are protected up to your selected coverage amount.

The process runs automatically within your SuiteOp workflow and does not add unnecessary friction for guests.

Getting Started

To enable Truvi in SuiteOp:

  1. In SuiteOp, go to Portal.

  2. Select Verify.

  3. Click + Add New.

  4. Choose Screen and Protect.

  5. Select the Pre-Check step where the guest’s name and email are collected.

  6. Assign the verification step to the appropriate property or portal.

Note: You'll need to have the Your details step active, including email collection.

Once assigned, Truvi will automatically screen guests using their name and email. Approved bookings will be protected based on your selected coverage amount.
