NEW FEATURES

💰 Deposit Request Capabilities

Once guests initiate a deposit, they will see a renewal of the hold every 7 days (or 5 days for some cards) until it is released after checkout, due to limitations of payment processors. This renewal process involves capturing and releasing a hold within a short period, which may result in two simultaneous holds on the card for a brief time. We acknowledge that some guests may find this process inconvenient.

  1. Prevent guests from initiating deposit too early: You can now control when guests are allowed to process their deposit authorization. By setting the number of days (X-days) before check-in that guests can initiate the hold, you can avoid early processing. We recommend configuring an automated message in your PMS to remind guests to set up their deposit X-days before check-in.
  1. Cancel upcoming deposit requests: If a guest initiates a deposit that is no longer required, you now have the option to release it early, providing greater flexibility and control over deposit management.

🌍 New Languages

SuiteOp now offers two new languages for translation in your Portals: Hindi & Chinese

ℹ️ Translation set-up:

You can enable these and other languages under Translations > Manage languages. You can then add languages to each specific Portals under the Language tab of the Portal template.

🔔 Notification Updates

  • You can now receive notifications for last minute reservations via Slack, ensuring you're up to date on the latest bookings for your properties.
  • Title, priority, and description changes to tasks no longer trigger notifications
  • Internal notification bug fixes

🛎️ Guest Portal Enhancements

We’ve upgraded the Guest Portal to better reflect your branding and give the best experience to your guests!

🔥 Portal Footer: You can now add custom messaging to the Guest Portal footer along with your logo, to be seen across all pages of the Portal. This is a great spot to add a help or support number for guests to contact if needed.

👀 New Landing Page: Guest Portal landing page has a fresh design
